Catching Up
I've been really slack with the blogging lately, haven't I? In my defense, I had the 'flu and that knocked me around for a few days and, apart from that, I've been quite busy with work and family related things.
We went to Ikea the weekend before last. I liked Ikea and there was a lot I'd buy from there (I did buy some bits and pieces, mainly kitchen things) but I think I can easily go another year without stepping foot back into the shop. My sister wanted to buy a dining table and chairs, which she did - but, of course, we ended up with the wrong chairs which she didn't discover until she went home and carried all the chairs upstairs (isn't it always the way?). We had to go back to pick up the table that evening so we switched the chairs as well and then there started a long night of putting pieces together. Ikea furniture is easier to put together than Fantastic furniture, I can say from experience.
I stayed at my sister's place that night and then we went and had Yum Cha the next day and then I fell asleep on her lounge while she was organising a cupboard. This is all while I've got the 'flu.
Then I had a few days off work because I was sick, which is somehow never as fun as having time off when you're well, is it?
This weekend just gone, we had dinner and watched the Footy at my sister's place, then I stayed over at mum's on Friday night because I was too tired to drive home. Saturday morning, my sister and I went shopping and then I came back here. It was miserable on Friday and Saturday - a lot of rain. Sunday was a nicer day weather-wise and it was also Father's Day here in Aus. Since we don't have anything to do with our father, we had mum around to my place in the morning for breakfast and gave her some "Father's Day gifts" and then we went into the city to see the David Jones' flower display. It was very pretty. Apart from all that, I've been working and that's about it.
So my blog has now caught up with my life. A bit of a shame that I haven't anything more exciting to write about...

I sent you an email, haven't got an answer so I'm trying this way - did the last package arrive safely?
