Question of the Week - 4

1) What yarn (that you don’t have/haven’t used) would make your stash “complete”?

Hmm, that's a tough one. I don't think I have an answer to that at all. I have a lot of different yarn in my stash - most of which, I haven't used (there are more yarns that I haven't used than those that I have). I don't actually think there's any particular yarn that would make my stash complete, the same way I don't feel that by not having a particular yarn in my stash that it is 'incomplete'.

Just for reference, some yarns I haven't got in my stash (off the top of my head):

Hemp
Recycled silk
Linen
Anything "Tilli Thomas"
Any of the popular sock yarns everyone else writes about in their blogs
Camel
Angora

2) What yarn do you never want to be without?

I originally interpreted this part to be "if you had to choose one yarn to use for the rest of your life, which would it be?" and it did my head in. I have since interpreted the question to simply be what yarn would I always like to have, without necessarily having to do away with all the rest. To that, I would have to say - a good quality finer weight yarn in a variety of colours, like a 4ply which is quite a versatile sort of yarn, good for baby items, shawls, socks (I will finish them one day!), toys etc.
