Quite Some Time
It has been a while since I popped back into blogger. I would've done it sooner, except I forgot my log-in and password...
There's really nothing much for me to write about, I just feel like writing something, I suppose. I've been enjoying footy season a great deal, so that has been keeping me occupied. Work is going well, it's a lot of fun and I wake up in the morning looking forward to my day, which is the way I like it. I am having a few money issues lately, thanks to some large and rather unexpected bills but they're paid for now, hopefully I won't have any more crop up for a while.
I'm crocheting a scarf at the moment, since I am freezing in the mornings on the way to work (and often for a few hours more until the heaters kick in). I'm making a modified 'ruffle scarf' using the LionBrand Homespun that I received as a C'ville RAoK some time ago. It's looking okay at the moment, a bit goofy but I really don't care so much as long as it keeps my neck warm...it's a modified version since I couldn't be bothered looking up the pattern in the book so I'm working it from memory. I've since realised my memory is not as good as I had thought but then, not so bad either. I've made it quite a bit longer (I think) so it is taking forever but never mind. It's nice to be crocheting again, to be honest. I have let so many projects lapse over these last few months but it should be something enjoyable and if it isn't, then I think a break is a good idea. I should have plenty of yarn left over to maybe try some fingerless gloves / wristwarmers to match the scarf, or even just some little cuffs. Not sure yet but I will try not to get ahead of myself.
Anyway, I think that's about enough for now, we'll see if I can get back into the blogger-y swing of things...
