Tea for Two - Hardly!
I am still plodding away at the Crinoline Lady Tea Cosy - she's almost finished, I've done all the ends and am just in the midst of joining the liner piece to the skirt piece. It's not going well. The tea cosy is very small...she will have to go shopping with me on Saturday. I worried about needing a 3-cup teapot, I might need a 1-cup teapot instead!
I am still unable to contact my Spoilee, I changed e-mail addresses and tried again but no luck - the message I receive in return is that my IP is blocked so I don't see that it will help even if I e-mailed her from my own address. I have e-mailed Robyn about it. I'm glad whatever has happened has happened at the tail end of SP11 and not at the beginning.
And speaking of SP11, my Secret Pal has been a bit quiet lately - hope the PCB is going well and things are okay with you and yours, Secret Pal.
I haven't had a lot of time for crocheting this week so I haven't gotten back to the Knotwork Socks or started the Crinoline Lady Runner or any of the other things I wanted to start. The Tapestry is burning a hole in my stash, I just don't know what I'm going to do with it but I want to do something. I am not sure I understand Seraphina well enough to try with the Tapestry, almost everyone who makes one says there are errors in the written directions but they don't help the clueless (like me!) with error-free directions. Hmph. I will have to go from the pictures, too, like everyone else I suppose. Woe is me.
Pineapple Circular Shawl is being given to the mother-to-be tomorrow so I hope I hear a little report in the evening along positive lines.
