My Apologies

I had to go to see my Doctor on Friday afternoon, which is not usually cause for celebration but I like my GP. I needed some advice about Maurice - Maurice being a kind-of-cute and kind-of-ugly little growth that popped up a few months ago (like a daisy!) in a place where, previously, there was nothing. We have been peacefully co-existing for several months, I guess you could say Maurice 'grew' on me (pardon the pun), hence why it's taken me so long to get him checked. While I like to think I am a kind and just landlady, I have to draw the line at things that mess up my hair...so it was curtains for Maurice!

My GP wasn't concerned at all (which is a Good Thing) and he did what had to be done, so now I am awaiting the disgusting event of Maurice "falling off". I'm living in fear of finding a little Maurice corpse on the pillow next to me when I wake up in the morning (happily, that was not the case today!).

Yesterday I finally, finally went and got my eyebrows done. I've been tidying them up myself but I don't do it as well with my tweezers as my very nice, Korean beautician can do with her hot wax. They're a bit thinner than I usually like but I'm not complaining (really, I'm not).

Eyebrow(s)
(I thought my skin wasn't too bad but these close-ups have a way of shattering all illusions - that little white patch on the side of my nose is a scar from where I had an un-named mole removed several years ago. I took the stitches out myself.)

In my quest yesterday to get a "postable" photo of my eyebrows, I ended up with far too many not-so-nice photos which led to an afternoon of Photoshopping and photomanipulation fun. Hey, it kept me amused and out of trouble for several hours. The humidity is giving me a lot of grief:

Black and White Photo Fun
(If I need incentive to stick to the Plan, that very broad face kind of rams it home!)

I'm trying to work out how to type the sound of me laughing.. whilst laughing!!!

Seriously though - I speak as a redhead who has had bits cut out due to springing up of growths.. Maurice needs to be shown the door!!!
